Elizabeth Arden fragrance’s first quarter sales shows that the fragrances may have been losing luster with their market.
Gary Giblen, analyst with Breach Murray, Carret & Co, says that the company’s brand development has been disappointing recently, pointing to disappointing sales of the new Hilary Duff fragrance, With Love… Hilary Duff, during the holiday period.
He also stated that recent negative press caused by Britney Spears is likely to impact sales of her fragrance and related cosmetics line. Currently, the Spears cosmetic portfolio includes the recently launched Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy fragrances, together with the record-selling Curious fragrance.

thats one of the reports theres also one which says it was a massive hit! and no1 has been buyin britneys cause of her bad behaviour recently…With love sold well.

Hilary said it sold out and the article said it was a hit too toward the bottom.

hey jonathan, i believe it said that it was a hit last JUNE, but the sales went down during the holiday season when the company expected it to sell more.
