Now here’s something to brighten everyone’s day. Forbes has put out a 20 Richest Stars Under 25 list, just to remind the rest of us how little we’ve achieved. Mind you, if you’re under 25 there may still be hope. For those of us that have passed that milestone – hey, there’s more to life than money, right? Right?
While the top four spots are all claimed by pro athletes – with basketball star LeBron James topping the list at an alarming $27 million – TV stars make the cut, too. Former Full Housers turned business moguls Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen continue their mission of world domination, tied for 5th at $17 million apiece.
Following close behind is Lizzie McGuire’s Hilary Duff, at 7th place with $12 million, O.C alum Mischa Barton in 13th with $4.5 million, Hannah Montana’s alter-ego Miley Cyrus at 17th place with $3.5 million, and Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz rounding out the list at 20th place with $3 million.
Other high-rollers include all three of the Harry Potter trio – though Harry himself, Daniel Radcliffe, holds a magical 6th place with $15 million, while Emma “Hermione” Watson and Rupert “Ron” Grint make 15th and 16th, respectively, with a mere $4 each. Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne holds a respectable 8th place with $12 million, American Idol winner Carrie Underwood holds strong at 11th place with $7 million and freshly rehabbed Lindsay Lohan ranks 18th, with $3.5 million.
Here’s the list:
