Rumor mill says that Hilary Duff, all grown-up and ready to play the dating wheel, is currently hooking up with San Francisco Giants pitcher Barry Zito.

In fact, they were photographed leaving some chic, Hollywood nightspot recently. However, Hilary’s rep says that the two are just friends and she just “wants to take things slowly.”

Barry Zito, who was once linked with actress Alyssa Milano, is one of the most interesting characters in sports and just signed a $126 million contract, which is the richest for a pitcher in baseball history.
