Duff decides to free Klein

Hilary Duff and ex-boyfriend Madden decides to drop legal action against David Klein, a celebrity photographer, after he agreed not to contact them again.

Last October, Duff and Madden filed temporary restraining order against Klein and his roommate Maksim Miakovsky. The former couple feared for their safety and requested that a restraining order against the alleged stalkers to stay at least 100 yards away from Duff, her sister Haylie, her mother Susan, Madden and his twin brother Benji.

Yesterday (Dec 20), however, the case against Klein was dismissed “based upon his apologies for any misunderstanding, his cooperation, and his assurances that he will not seek further contact with Ms. Duff, Mr. Madden, or any of their family members or representatives,” according to a statement released by Duff’s representatives at the Rogers and Cowan public relations firm.

Remember last month when Miakovsky, a Russian expat, was arrested for stalking Hil and posing death threats against her for not reciprocating his romantic intentions? Saying that the sole purpose why he’s away from home is because he wants to meet and be romantically involved with Hilary… and would want to kill whoever is on the way—including ex-bf Joel Madden! Creepy! Well, at least this crazy-ass freak is still behind bars…
