Barbie’s the Culprit!!!!

Maybe we’re tired of pointing our fingers at a breathing bone-bagged third party… so it’s time to blame it on Barbie!

Rumors say that Hilary Duff Barbie played a big role in Madden-Duff breakup. In fact, back when Hilary was working closely with the Barbie people to develop the doll, the issue of how important her good-girl image came up. Hilary has been constantly reminded that she must have a strong hold of her role model image for all those little girls in order for the dolls to click.

Certain people worried about her boyfriend Joel’s rockstar-punk image… both family and friends expressed their concern about Joel’s future—and questioned whether he just riding on successful Hilary’s coattails. So this got Hilary to thinking… it was also rumored that Hil wasn’t really happy with her relationship.

On the other hand, Barbie makers also brought up the idea of making a ‘boyfriend’ doll for Hilary’s doll—like Ken is to Barbie. But they realized they couldn’t make a tattooed pierced rocker doll of Joel coz that’s just totally far from the “good” image that Barbie has… so they dropped the idea. And guess what, not long after that, Hilary dropped Joel! Sounds steaming….
